about

Hearts In Transit is a collection of soft rock hits and contemplative ballads, recorded by Andrew Johnston when he worked under the moniker Andrew vs. the Enabler.

The album was mostly recorded at Ottawa's Bova Sound studios using a pair of 16 track analog tape machines used to record Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water." Additional overdubs and production were handled by Dave Smith at the Breakglass Studio in Montreal.

The resultant collection of 5 songs, is heavy on 70s singer songwriter vibes, showcasing Andrew's love of heart on your sleeve balladry. Andrew is joined by Philip Shaw Bova on drums, Angus McLachlin on several instruments, and John Klepko on guitar (Artificial Light). The album also features string arrangements written by Eric Passmore.
